| The Only Salvation: Album of the month | 09.04.2008 |

| Artifact participated with their album in the May soundcheck at Zillo Music Magazine (Germany). Meaning several of the mag’s writers judging between 10 and 13 albums and giving their rating. The Only Salvation ended as number 1 and won this soundcheck, so our album automatically is "Album of the Month"! Other artists featured in the same soundcheck were Moonspell, Tiamat and Dornenreich, amongst others. We've also been awarded the "Newcomer of the month" title in the same issue.
